Liz Hanna

Digital Strategist

Liz has over 14 years of experience as a digital strategist, media planner and communications expert. As an extension of Creative Arm’s team, Liz is our digital guru and social media superstar.


Prior to entering the freelance world, Liz worked at The Martin Agency for eleven years in both the Richmond and New York offices. Her engagement planning experience spanned a variety of local and national accounts. While at The Martin Agency, Liz and her team were awarded an Effie for their work on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland media support. The campaign delivered TV Land’s highest original rating and won the W25-54 demographic during the premiere time slot. Liz’s digital accolades include a Google case study on in-stream video, participation in the beta testing panel for Atlas Engagement Modeling, and negotiating the first to-market Pandora local station customization campaign. As a member of the edtech startup Zoozil she participated in Richmond startup accelerator Lighthouse Labs.


Today, Liz utilizes quantitative and qualitative research to mine, develop and communicate consumer and market insights that inspire innovative ideas and increase user engagement. She also enjoys moderating online focus groups and developing social strategies. 


Liz’s passions include pop culture, digital media, home design, cooking, travel, cheddar goldfish, and awesomely bad TV. Liz is a current resident of Capitol Hill, DC, along with her husband, Brian, daughter Walker, son Jay and their 90-pound lab, George.
