1. Naming

The simple act of naming an organisation is the most important thing we can do for it, so unless its unmistakably brilliant, why should a name be the first thing that comes into the directors mind? Over and over again it has been proven that names do make and break a business empire due to the psychology, the culture, and many, many other influences.

It is generally agreed that names must have that knock-out appeal, but what most directors don’t realise (and often run into trouble with) is that a name actually need to be functional across multiple platforms. Creative Arm naming use a robust method to check the name against multiple platforms, cultures, technologies, future trends and other constraints to ensure that the name you are using is the right one – the one that will make you stand out now,but also stand the test of time to gain value and become an icon in your industry. Call Creative Arm now to start your name analysis.

2. Corporate Image and branding

An old proverb says that a double minded man is like a ship tossed about on the waves. Show strength of character and choose the logo and image design that you can strut confidently in.

Creative Arm creates a branding package after our “listening ear sessions” which include the basics of brand design.

Colour

Logo

Typeface

Texture

Outlook

Writing style

These fundamentals will be delivered in both a PDF and bound style guide which is consumable by anyone in a public facing role in your organisation.

After more than a million downloads of WordPress 3.2, we’re now releasing WordPress 3.2.1 into the wild. This maintenance release fixes a server incompatibility related to JSON that’s unfortunately affected some of you, as well as a few other fixes in the new dashboard design and the Twenty Eleven theme. If you’ve already updated to 3.2, then this update will be even faster than usual, thanks to the new feature in 3.2 that only updates files that have been changed, rather than replacing all the files in your installation.
